STATEMENT BY COMMISSION REGARDING ELECTRONIC MEETING PURSUANT TO IOWA CODE 21.8 

This open meeting is being held electronically pursuant to Iowa Code section 21.8 due to the current circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing where an in-person meeting is impossible or impractical for committee members and for the safety of the public. 

 

How to Participate in the Meeting

Due to the concern for the safety of all residents of Marshall County, the Board of Supervisors’ Public Meetings will be available LIVE online, as previously established on March 31, 2020, through the COVID-19 Virus pandemic, to continue indefinitely, meetings will also accommodate limited number of guests from the public in the meeting room designated in agendas. The Commission encourages the public to remain engaged and actively participate via the ZOOM process if possible.. Presenters may provide documentation electronically for inclusion during the meeting prior to the agenda deadline and are requested to participate via ZOOM.

You are requested to state your name for the record and limit the time used to present your remarks in order that others may be given the opportunity to speak. The normal process on any agenda item is for the Chairperson to read the item from the agenda. The Commission is given an opportunity to comment on the issue and/or place a motion on the floor.
