Discover the incredible journey of monarch butterflies as we explore their life cycle, migration, and the challenges they face along the way. Participants will learn how scientists study monarch populations through tagging and will have the opportunity to help tag monarch butterflies for migration research if weather and butterfly conditions allow.

About Marshall County
Established in 1846, Marshall County is a collection of 13 communities and is home to over 40,000 residents. The county was named after John Marshall, Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court. Marshall County is administered by a three-member Board of Supervisors who are elected for four-year terms. Other elected officials include the Attorney, Auditor/Recorder, Sheriff, and Treasurer.
