Each session will focus on an element of art or type of media, a project to work on, and studio time to be creative and work on other projects. Participants can sign up for all or one session. The Amateur Astronomers of Central Iowa will help you explore the night sky at our new observatory! This beginner-friendly "Intro to Astronomy" program offers a relaxed and engaging opportunity to learn the basics of stargazing. Please bring a lawn chair.

About Marshall County
Established in 1846, Marshall County is a collection of 13 communities and is home to over 40,000 residents. The county was named after John Marshall, Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court. Marshall County is administered by a three-member Board of Supervisors who are elected for four-year terms. Other elected officials include the Attorney, Auditor/Recorder, Sheriff, and Treasurer.
