General Assistance helps individuals meeting income and policy requirements for a one-time payment of no more than $300 to help with rent. General Assistance can also help with current month's utility bill. Payments are issued through the Marshall County payables system and may take a few weeks based on the check issuance schedule. When an application is complete with all the required documentation, please call or email the office to make an appointment for the review of the application.
