Request a Ride

We have several Federally certified drivers who provide transportation for Veterans to their medical appointments at the VA Hospitals or other medical facilities. Veterans are required to call as soon as they know the date of their next appointment, time, and location. We like to have a 2-week notice if possible. Monday and Friday trips are reserved for the Iowa City area. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are reserved for the Des Moines area.

When requesting assistance the following is needed:

  • A copy of the DD214
